Too expensive

Camera is too expensive vs the concurrence and the monthly fee is expensive vs Ezviz or Dlink cloud.
I don’t recommend it.

**UPDATE** Issue with recording while home/stuck in Away mode has been fixed so I’m using the camera again but still looking for other options.

Made the mistake of investing in this garbage a few years ago. Since then I have watched them continually remove free services to make them pay services. First changes were ok but now with the latest update it is stuck in Away Mode and constantly recording when we are at home. It looks like they want you to pay to make it stop recording! I’m done with this garbage I will unplug it and look for something better.

Broken Updates

Your most recent updates have broken my devices' connectivity to the Internet, as well as the mobile app's ability to check in. This is making me lose faith in canary's ability to watch my home and provide updates. Broken broken broken!

With iOS 11, I’m home and it won’t change to home mode. Even when I’m hitting it myself or trying to press private, it stays on away.

Canary silently removed night mode feature and made it part of their subscription service. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I started to look at other options.

Update: Canary, what the hell? Why do you break your app? Learn to Beta test.
