CarbonCruise allows you to collect high-quality tree data under the forest canopy using your iPhone. This app replaces manual fieldwork methods with a digital workflow, allowing you to easily capture tree diameter, height, carbon, location, and species, no additional tools required.
At this time, CarbonCruise supports plot data collection for a 400m² fixed radius plot.

• Quick Measure: Determine the diameter or height of a tree in seconds if you want a quick analysis without performing full plot data collection.
How it works:
1. Create a Plot: Enter your plot’s name and location. The app will generate a map showing your position within the boundaries of the 400m² fixed radius plot.
2. Measure: Choose a tree and use the on-screen guides to capture its diameter and height.
3. Add Details: Input species information and any additional notes about the tree or plot.
4. Sync & Analyze: Once your plot is complete, sync the data to the cloud for reporting and further analysis.
Device requirements:
CarbonCruise requires an iPhone with a working LiDAR scanner. Compatible with: iPhone 12 Pro and all newer Pro or Pro Max models.
