Subscription Thoughts
I absolutely understand that an app requires ongoing maintenance and the cost of a subscription is not unreasonable, but it's a bit messed up that the app will identify larger notes but refuse to tell you what they are. Can you imagine if you asked someone to quickly look at a bank note and identify it for you, and they said "I can see what this is, I'll only tell you if you pay me?" It's kind of infuriating, honestly. I think the app shouldn't discriminate what kind of money it identifies, but rather only identify a certain number of notes and then ask you to subscribe for more. People can't reasonably anticipate when they're going to need to identify a larger currency, and the list of larger currencies seems really arbitrary and isn't documented anywhere.

Hello, Cash Reader identifies the lowest banknotes of any currency in the free version, and all the banknotes of any currency in the paid versions. The randomness you might experience is from the fact that every currency has a different number of banknotes. Some have 5, while others have 20. In the case scenario when the currency has 5 banknotes, then Cash Reader will identify 2, while for a 20 banknote currency, it will identify 5 at least. We hope this helps you understand. All in all, we are sorry you feel this way about Cash Reader, as you have mentioned, this app indeed has a lot of work going around for maintenance plus keeping it alive and including new countries.
