All you will need

I used this app plus some other study guides to prep for my test. This app has everything the other guides have for a fraction of the cost. Use this app to study and try to beat the time limits by as wide a margin as you can and you’ll do fine on your test. My only complaint is that, at least in the version I was using, you can’t customize the time limits, you always have 1.5 minutes per question where the actual CFAT is much tighter than that. All in all I’d recommend this to anyone writing the CFAT. I practised these problems for on average two hours per day for a week and half leading up to my test and did quite well!

Not bad but not perfect and way overpriced

Good library of questions, however some of the answers that the app marks as correct are actually wrong. Also, you can’t set a proper timer as it just picks a random set amount of time every, and the slider that’s supposed to adjust it does nothing. Considering this is supposed to be designed specifically for CFAT it really kinda misses the mark here.

Ways to improve: allow users to actually customize a test - set the order of question types for the 3 different categories, and set a fixed amount of time for each of the 3 sections, so as to better mimic the actual structure of the real test (15VS in 5min, 15SA in 10min, 30PS in 30min, in that order)

So considering I payed 12-13 bucks or whatever it is, I have to say I feel ripped off atm, fix these things and I won’t

Developer Response ,

Hi David,
Thank you for your review.
If you find questions you believe contain errors, please use the report feature - that is the purpose of the feature. We respond to all reports and in the majority of cases a user has misread the question or jumped to an early conclusion.
Regarding the time limit, it is not random - it is calculated based on the questions used for the test. Some questions are given more time - others less time. If you feel the overall time you are given is too short or long- go to settings and adjust the time.
You can customize a test to include the categories you wish, to do this select "Mixed Test".
Again, thank you for your report.

No way this app cost money

If you are going to charge people an arm and a leg for an app how about you at least have the correct answers and not say the right answer is wrong because let me tell ya even my 8 year old brother knows 10% of 180,000 is not 20,000 how do you mess that up?

Developer Response ,

Hi Enteredby,
in the question you refer to you do not need to find 10% of 180. You are not working the question correctly. You are finding 10% of the wrong number.
Use the built in report feature, so we have a chance to help you. We cannot provide support for you through the app review section.
Kind regards, Kim Barkholt
