Good Game

If you’re serious about chess, this is the best chess game in the App Store. If you’re a beginner, or just a really poor player, this game is not for you.

The ads are annoying, so it is worth paying a few bucks to remove them.

Some controls are not intuitive. If you want to play as Black, you need to click the up/down arrow to switch, not the black/white rooks. HEY DEVELOPERS: please make this intuitive.

I wish I could choose the Staunton chess pieces design (no choices available) and a black and white colour scheme instead of grey and red-brown. HEY DEVELOPERS: I’ll give you 5 stars if you fix this!

Game cheats

On several occasions when it’s losing, it calls a draw after 3 similar moves - not identical moves…really weird to program a chess game to cheat.
