What’s New

Version 2.3.0

Big update to how the chords handled. Currently, there are around 600,000 unique chords, each of which may have 20+ positions on each instrument.
This uses a huge amount of data, so i've had to re-think how they're generated and stored.
The method used for storing them has changed, which means faster loading times and far more chords (previously I had to leave out inverted chords as it increases the number of chords tenfold).

The lack of inversions meant that a lot of common Banjo and Ukulele tunings weren't possible!

- All possible inversions can now be selected for each chord (For example, a Cmaj chord with the G or an E as the lowest note).
- 4 String Tenor banjo added along with sounds. More banjo tunings to follow.
- Improved the quality of sound playback.

Any comments, criticisms or bugs found then please drop me an email at []( and i'll get back to you as soon as possible!

Better - Still Room for Improvement

I appreciate the developer taking the time to re-do the app. I like the format and the way the chords are displayed. I play guitar and noticed that the common ways to play some of the chords are deeper in the options. They should be the first option displayed. Keep up the good work. Hard to complain too much when an app is free.

Hi, sorry I’m a bit late but thanks for this feedback!

I agree that there were some issues that I’ve hopefully fixed in the latest version. All the chords are generated by an algorithm (since I want it to work with any instrument -!; tuning combination imaginable) and sometimes it got a bit mixed up, I’ve put a tonne of improvements into it now and a bunch of tests to check for errors.

I’ve also tried to have it sort them with the easy, common ones first in the new version, although sometimes a few which are impossible to play will slip through, which I am working on filtering out.

If you’re still interested in using it then drop me a message if you have any other comments!

As a dual musician I have never found a more functional app for chording charts that I could use and have that same information in a different format for another instrument! This is the only app you need, no switching between apps anymore!

Thanks so much for this review!! (I know it was 3 years ago). I’ve just got round to releasing a new version with quite a few improvements and will be making a few more in the coming weeks. Drop me a message if you’re still using it and have any comments!
