Could not be more useless

This app is a disaster. I LOVED First Calgary’s app. Easy. User friendly. Then it became ConnectFirst and idiots took over, whose seemingly only priority was to drive away business by making loyal customers SO frustrated in trying to conduct every day banking affairs that they are compelled to leave. DO BETTER.

Where did all the options to pay bills, transfer money between accounts etc go??
App is kinda useless if you can’t actually manage your account through it

This version of our app is currently in inquiry mode only while we work with our partners to update to the new version. We really appreciate your patience. In the meantime, you can bank online with full functionality using a browser (safari, chrome, edge etc) on your desktop or mobile device by visiting banking.connectfirstcu.com.

Worst banking app

Horrible banking app. It always takes forever to load and login. If you’re wanting to do something simple like check your bank balance, you have to click here, click there, then click some more. There is always a lag, so naturally this is very frustrating of you’re in a hurry. When you go to set up a new payee for E-transfer, you always have to go back into that section. Obviously if I’m setting up a new payee I plan to send them money right away, so again, very frustrating when you’re in a hurry and just unnecessary.

I find this entire app is full of useless and unnecessary steps. Nothing is quick and to the point. Also, it requires you to login to a computer to make some changes which again is frustrating when all I have is my phone.

I’m currently locked out *again* and waiting g for a call back. I don’t even know why I’m locked out. Also a common occurrence. As soon as my mortgage is up for renewal I plan on switching to another Credit Union. Ever since First Calgary sold to Connect U it’s gone downhill, especially the app.
