Description
The Cop Watch Video Recorder app provides the easiest way to create and upload videos about police-citizen interactions. Settings are available to have the app begin recording as soon as it is launched, and to upload video to iCloud automatically. The app also provides some handy reference material concerning your right to shoot these videos.

One user writes "I recorded an event when the police were questioning me ... It seemed like because of the fact I was recording them they were acting nicer than usual. At one point 1 of the officers tried to grab my phone, but I warned him if he tried to damage the phone or stop the recording it will be uploaded to YouTube immediately, and then he stopped, LOL. It felt good like we are equals, as it should have always been."

What’s New
Version 3.4
This is the final release of the Cop Watch Video Recorder. I first released this app in 2014. The intention was to add to the conversation in Black and progressive communities. I wanted to provide a tool to allow others to know we can, and will look out for each other. I feel Cop Watch has done its part in that conversation. Thank you all.

About time
This app is genius!!! Can't wait to fully use it. Need to develop a version which works and allows the user to select the city they film the police violence in. Perhaps the developer can contact me and we can talk about fund raising such and app!!??

This app makes the police transparent… making very hard to hide. Now, if only there was an app that holds them accountable! Great idea!
