What’s New
Version 6.16.1
Welcoming the newest product line addition to the Cync platform, Undercabinet Fixtures! Available in 12in, 18in, and 24in, including the puck version. These sleek edge-lit lights illuminate countertops with vibrant colors and no hot spots, making them a perfect addition to your Cync ecosystem.
- Added default color favorites for easy selection in your favorites section.
- Slight modifications to scenes and schedules, including a minor troubleshooting section for your devices.
- Now supporting all font size scaling.
- Increased the minimum supported iOS version to 15.
- Alleviated some instances of lights not responding to commands simultaneously.
- General bug fixes and performance improvements.
Ratings and Reviews
Google Home stopped working in latest disappointment
Basically forced to use these smart switches because of old wiring in my house, I would have moved on a long time ago. I did have a couple months of stable connection once I setup a 2Ghz wifi network specifically for this switch. Now the device is offline in Google Home 100% of the time but connected in app. Please fix! Relinking account does nothing.
Edited Aug 2024: tried the app again after many months, everything working as expected, for now…
horrid app
i have no idea how a company could release such a buggy, useless, poor quality service. i wouldn’t recommend this app or products to my worst enemy. i hope the company goes under.
Can’t get it to work at all
I still have the C by GE app on my phone but I downloaded the new Cync app on the old phone I just use at home on wifi - used to use it to control my lights but now I can’t make it connect to my lights via this new app.
I had many problems with the old app and had to sign out and back in each time, so that was annoying but at least it eventually worked - wishI could put the old app back on this device too. There should be a zero stars rating as I can’t make it work at all.
