This has been a life for me along with the bible.

I could never say enough wonderful words about this very book. Along side the bible they truly partner each other. I have been reading daily for over 25 yrs. beginning with a paperback that fell apart , then a hardback and now I’ve been gifted with a imitation leather. I have lost track of how many copies I have given as gifts. I pray they still turn the pages of this book. It has help me through the most difficult days and weeks and years of my life thus far and I know until the end of the time. I have read other daily devotions but I always return to this one and shall stop looking. It was written in a day when man and woman totally relied on the Lord. And looked always to His truth and ways and direction and encouragement to always draw near to the Lord. It appears our culture has come to believe they are self sufficient , but only time will show them differently . I like how it is now set up to email to another so easily . Thank you and refreshing new photos of His creation . In His Grip, Peggy

Disappointed

I really enjoy reading this devotional in the morning along with the prayer and then the evening prayer at night. I recently came upon two readings and found it to be very offensive by the use of the word “coloured woman” “coloured man”; slavery has been done away with although black and brown people are still fighting for their place in society. Please use the proper term “ black people” or African American”.
