Great at what it does.

I have enjoyed using this, especially now that the Stockfish app for iPhone has disappeared from the App store. I just want a simple lightweight on-device chess program for user vs computer play. I have noticed a bug recently:
-- you can accidentally move a piece if your finger slips on the board: the piece moves (e.g. a knight might move forward like a pawn), and then the piece is displayed in the new position even though the computer knows it is "really" in its previous position. This makes the game unplayable.
-- there should be some indication of stalemate
-- when you get a pawn to row 8 (or 1) you should be able to select the piece you want, as per the rules of the game. In many situations a rook is preferable because if you are playing an endgame with a queen or three it's far too easy to accidentally create a stalemate.

I guess I would also want to be able to select an option for dark mode all the time.
Otherwise, this is really good!

Great chess game. Best looking chess game in the store.

This App used to be BEAUTIFUL!

It’s a shame they made the design of the app way too minimal and bland… it’s hard to look at and boring to look at… I used to love playing this app. It would be awesome if you have users the option to toggle back to the old design. This new UI is simply awful.
