Description
Now with support for 5e and Non-d20 systems!
A dice roller app for tabletop roleplaying games that keeps the fun of tossing physical dice without all that pesky math and adds a few tricks of its own.
Toss 3d physics based dice that leave trails of fire, steam, and more.
Combine all of the dice needed, numerical bonuses, sounds and other information into a single combo die that makes appropriate sound effects. That then explodes into multiple dice when thrown.
Neat things:
Create Combo Dice that combine Attack Dice, Damage Dice, Bonuses, Defense to attack and then add an Icon and a sound effect!
Tons of unique 3d dice with particle effects, animations and more to personalize to your character.
Does all the math for you, including bonus and critical hit math.*
Saves Combo Dice and Dice Selections in a "Character List" to easily switch setups.
Create Combo Dice easily. No formulas or math. Just toss out the dice you need, add the bonus and options and hit save.
Acts as a soundboard for your characters attacks automatically when you attack, without you needing to open another app or take the time to select a sound.
Can roll a TON of dice at once.
*critical hit math is only in 4e currently.
What’s New
Version 1.8.0
This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Added some really cool new dice
Updated Hud
Addressed Bugs
Ratings and Reviews
5e mode wonky
Needs better registration of attack and damage for d20 rolls; to not throw a 2nd d20 (for advantage) if the d20 is thrown as a damage die.
Issues with PC’s
This is a great app, but I’m getting push back from a PC of mine claiming that this app either rolls consistently good or consistently bad. Can you address this please? I’d like to be able to defend how the app works because I’ve had to stop using it to prevent being questioned every time I roll. Perhaps just an overview of how it works or how the rolls are decided on would be great. Feel free to message me privately if that’s easier. Thanks, hopefully I can use it again.
Developer Response ,
The dice are purely physics based and since I give them each 4 initial random variables they should have no bias and as random as I can think to make them.
First, the horizontal distance is determined by taking the speed of your flick and adding a small random adjustment. More importantly, it then adds 3 random initial spins. One for each axis, X,Y,Z. So the die is always spinning randomly, regardless of the tap or throw. At this point the physics engine takes over. The engine is coded for speed which adds additional randomness in the bounces and rolling. So, it's taking initial human input, randomizing 4 different values (Horizontal, X spin, Y Spin, Z Spin) then pumping those into a loose physics engine. Which should make it as random as possible! Feel free to hit the Feedback button if you have any other questions! That will send me a direct email. Let me know if you have any additional questions and if this response resolved your concerns! Also, if it makes you feel better at all, the app is in use by hundreds of thousands of people who have not reported any bias or unfair rolling. If you are having any other issues, or would like to talk more about it, please hit the feedback button which sends me a direct email and i'd love to talk. Thanks!
