DK Eyewitness Travel Phrase Book Audio App is the perfect addition to your Phrase Book, and to learning a new language. For each language, over 1,300 words and phrases are spoken in the language of the title. All words are from the books and are spoken by native speakers. Simply download the free app, then use your copy of the book to fully access audio for one of five languages: French, German, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish.

This clear and easy-to-use app contains plenty of audio content from each Phrase Book, there is audio for all the pages featuring the headphones icon. Just like the book, the vocabulary is arranged thematically, with subjects including travel and transport, food and drink, accommodation, shopping, sightseeing, and emergencies. Search for any page featuring the headphones, tap on a word to listen to it being spoken, scroll up and down the word lists for each topic, and swipe left or right to go to the next or previous page.

Books not appearing in library

The app is reading the bar code and downloading the audio but not creating a library containing my books! ☹️

Perfect

My ipad read the bar code easily. I like the favourites option where i can save the phrases i will use the most. No problems here.

Barcode scanner doesn't even work

The app is garbage. Bought the book and the app doesn't even work. The barcode scanner will not scan the barcode, and you can't manually enter in the barcode from the book. Terrible experience and will be returning the book I purchased. No faith in DK.
