Would rate much higher if I could save annotations!

This app appears to be very functional, and I can get it to do exactly what I M looking for. Except save the annotations! As I am adding the annotations, they look perfect, but when I hold down my finger to preview my changes, none of the annotations are visible. When I save, none of the annotations show up. I have tried multiple things to get them to save to no avail. Help!
