WARNING: DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM
I got eatapp in order to manage reservations for my bar. The entire experience has been an ordeal. First, if you are not in the Middle Eastern region customer service will be a nightmare. Also, if you aren’t in the United States, they won’t accept any currency that isn’t USD. So that means if you are adding fees like no-shows or cover charge or what not for your costumers to make a reservation, they will not let you charge your customers in your local currency. Your customers also won’t be able to use their app to check on their reservation or the waitlist, etc, unless you are based in the Middle East. Of course none of this was made clear when I did the demo (which was booked for 5am and then their staff member no-showed for) I’ve been spending almost two weeks now trying to get a refund and they will not give me confirmation or anything on things proceeding. It feels like they just took the money and ran.
Also, their interface is difficult to use from a business perspective and they made my reservations go live on google and social media before I was ready to launch and cause an absolutely weekend from hell for me.
Good luck with this company! Do not recommend!!!
Couldn’t sign up
I filled out my info. When I selected my country it said my phone # was invalid. So I deleted the app.
