GREAT Routers but …
The ONE and ONLY reason I chose this router was because of its HomeKit support!
And, it will be the last one because they no longer support HomeKit with their newer models (mine is eero 6 pro and will be the last ever purchased by eero)!
I also chose to register with a different mobile number and email address than the one with my Amazon Primer account!
I don’t trust Amazon / eero firmware - if you know what I mean!
Last but not least - eero’s founder/s always remind me of some spoiled kids who think they own the universe!
When you buy their routers, you don’t actually own your router! NOPE!
It will be always theirs unless you register it with them! As soon as you try to unregister or even log-off, then that’s it!
It will become useless! No connection what-so-ever!
It is also not a likeable product that hackers would want to waste their time and hack it with some special firmware!
Can’t connect
I can’t connect to internet and it won’t allow me to contact support no matter how many times I press the “contact support” option.
Ads!? Seriously!?
Ok, it’s for their own service. But still.
Stop nagging me to buy your monthly subscription. I only wanted the router. Now I’m not sure I even want that.
