Description
This container app provide conference apps that allow you to view the schedule, presentations, exhibitors and speaker details from the conferences. Users can take notes adjacent available presentation slides and draw directly on slides inside the app. Note-taking is also available in the posters and exhibitors modules.
Additionally, users can share information with attendees and colleagues with in app messaging, tweeting and emailing.

Quite good
Competing against the convenience of paper can be hard. Overall eventScribe does pretty well. A positive is viewing the slides for a talk and adding notes as you go. The downside is that if the printer then asks for audience participation votes there are an awful lot of clicks to go through before being able to join in, and more still to get back to taking notes on the slides.
Not living up to its claims
A lot of flaws:
- slow start
- buggy (repeated crashes)
- not focused on the meeting you attend, the app always starts up with “search meeting” and forces you to find your meeting
- it’s difficult to figure out how to mark an entire session as “starred”
- calendar integration does not work consistently, target (Apple) calendar cannot be selected
It seems much better to use meeting-specific apps, using a working generic algorithm as the structure.
