It’s great, but the current version is crashing.

Evernote is the Gold-Standard when it comes to notetaking. The functionality of the app is great.I paid good money for the full Premium Subscription, as the PDF annotator is excellent and great for taking class notes. However, Evernote frequently crashes while in PDF annotation mode. When it crashes, I lose all unsaved annotations, which can be devastating when I am in the middle of taking notes in class.I sincerely hope they can fix this bug soon. The feature is too expensive to be so insecure.I am running Mac OS Sierra on a 2014 Macbook.
Essential tool for personal & work notes

I have been a premium customer for a few years now. Together with Skitch and Penutilmate apps, I use it to track all my random thoughts, quick-jot notes, receipts, handwritten notes, etc. While I am a fan of this amazing app, the subscription price should be dropped given all th competing apps out there. Also its OCR engine could be use some tweaking and improvement.
Crashes

This app is convenient becasue it allows you to write on pdf slides. However it crashes almost every time I open it and it is infuriating !!! No matte rhow many times I click save (started doing it after every note I made) when it crashed it erased all of my notes! It is unnacceptable and will now be deleting it as a result. I am very dissapointed especially since I am paying for this.
Obscene pricing scheme for a basic service

I used to love Evernote. Had everything I needed, have been using it for years. Looks nice, easy to figure out. The app itself is great. But I'm sorry... You're asking us to pay $160 a YEAR for a bloody note taking app? Offering features that we've had free access to until now and expecting us to pay THAT much? That's absolutely insane. This is a good app that I'd be happy to pay a one time fee for. The subscription model though? Hard, hard, hard pass. Goodbye Evernote it was nice knowing you.
