This is the official app for Vancouver’s Best Car Share! Evo is car sharing made for you. It gets you from here to there with room for your friends - gas, insurance, parking and unlimited kms included. Plus, we’ve added e-bikes! The Evo app is your key to everything. Just reserve, unlock and hit the road. Yep, its that easy.

The app lets you:
• Sign up for car and e-bike sharing (you will need your driver’s license and a credit card to join)
• Find a vehicle 24/7 by checking out the real-time map
• Make or cancel reservations (you can reserve a car up to 30 min in advance or 5 min in advance for e-bikes, all for free) or use Evo Return to make round-trip bookings up to 30 days in advance
• Start, pause, and end trips with the click of a button, or use our handy QR code to start your e-bike trip
• See how much time is left before your reservation expires with the countdown timer
• View all available vehicles on the map or view them in a list
• View vehicle info including location, fuel/charge level, license plate, and distance from you
• Check out parking locations and the Home Zone
• See billing and manage all things to do with your Evo account
• Give us a shout 24/7 for help. Day or night we are here for you!
• Easily refer your friends and earn driving credit
• Stay up to date with in-app and push notifications
• Use radar to set a location, time, and radius to search for an Evo

The only thing I’d change is you can’t see if a closer become open while your walking to your car

Incompetent app and software

Poor function, booked 4 different cars around the area and couldn’t find any of them, wasted 30 minutes of my time

Invest in a User Experience Designer

There is so much wrong with this app that could easily be fixed if developers weren’t designing it.

Stop adding so many modal windows that are extra steps WHILE being charged for time. I shouldn’t be on the clock to give feedback about damages/safety and the cleanliness of the car. Those should come before the timer starts.

MAKE THE MAP BETTER. How are you not linked to a google map?! Make the live user icon more accurate and add a direction shadow so I don’t have to walk half a block to know I’m walking in the right direction.

So many user problems. Get user feedback and make proper changes.
