Subways are not hard unless you are Country Folk lol
Good, useful, could be even better
I’ve been a happy user of this (and the developer’s Shanghai and HK metro apps) for several years. I’m not sure the design is keeping up with the growing complexity of the Beijing metro, though. Interchange stations are sometimes hard to read (text often crosses awkwardly over lines); the station names have some spacing irregularities; and now some names slant in funny, non-design-compliant directions. I think rather than squeezing more lines into an existing design, the developer might find it worthwhile to redesign the map from scratch, to better accommodate the denser web of stations? Easy for me to say though; I’m not a designer. Also, agree that station exit maps are essential and need to be clearer and more informative in this app, for it to fulfill its potential. Often that’s precisely the info I’m looking for, and the app lets me down here.
Accurate, but I didn't use it
I loaded this app and it was great to see all the routes, but once I was in Beijing the Subway is so easy to use that I didn't ever need to look at the App.
It could be useful for looking at first and last trains, however, because the subway closes down pretty early.
