MKO'Neill ,

A useful, inexpensive and easy to use app

I wanted to determine the extent to which a planned garden shed would affect sun exposure on my, and my neighbors properties.

I chanced upon Find My Shadow while looking for an easy to use tool for this kind of calculation, and found the online version was sufficient to meet my needs. The ios app had some very negative reviews based on an earlier version, so I contacted the author who responded very quickly and stated that updated app was as good as the online version, with some additional features.

I bought the app and have used it with great success. I am very happy with the results.

The user manual is somewhat out of date. However, after my experience with the on-line version, it was very straightforward to use the app and obtain good results without significant issues. The “learning curve” is not steep.

In summary, the current version of the app is an inexpensive, easy to use tool which will be useful for gardeners, small builders and photographers who need to simulate sun and shadow for a specific location.

Disappointing

The 'shadow' feature is useless. Everything else is free on the Internet.

Does NOT work

This app does not work at all. It's a shame that I paid money for this.
