Description
Firefight is a World War II real-time simulation game with more AI and attention to detail than any other game in its genre to date. Tanks are modelled with a physics engine and have gears, rev counters and speedos, and steer themselves with brake levers to give them realistic looking tracked vehicle movement. Each bullet, shell or piece of shrapnel is modelled in 3D and ricochets realistically off sloping surfaces. You can see each infantryman's rank, name, weapon, ammunition remaining, heart rate and fatigue levels. Machine gunners will call for ammunition when they're running low and other squad members will rush over with spare ammo if they are carrying any. Wounded men call for medics who will sprint over to administer first aid. Off-board artillery can be called in but will have to fire several ranging shots before the full 8 gun battery opens fire simultaneously.
Play either against the sophisticated built-in AI, or play a local network game against a friend using WiFi or Bluetooth.

Ratings and Reviews
Awesome but...
It's extremely fun just a shame about the micro transactions
Good game but
Tank AI is really bad and I mean really really bad. Why would a tank back up into a house, I been playing for a really long time and it does that and it’s been so annoying even though I don’t position it like that. Then there’s the tank turret facing backward when enemies are in the front. That happens so many time. The turret should always be facing the front unless I tell them to turn. In some case I do tell them to turn their turrets but in most case they doze off into random position. I wish you can add more to this game like a sandbox, make it iPhone friendly, select multiple units and make them do stuff as one. I wish you can actually drop paratrooper right in, more urban towns like Paris, Berlin and etc, I wish you can do levels where you have to defend against an attack and so on. I understand you are just one person and you have a life but I really see potential in this game and I really hope you can improve it, thank you.
Horrible game
Tanks have a mind of their own. If they are trying to copy the old ‘Close Combat’ they failed horribly. In no mission can you defend. You’re only tasked with offensive maneuvers. Like I said earlier, the tanks that are under your control do what ever they wish. I placed 3 tanks on a firing line (PzIV, Sturm, Panther) all three were knocked out by a single Sherman tank because once the Sherman fired all my tanks reversed and showed the rear end of their chassis. I mean....really???
