Great for managing chores

My roommates and I have been mainly using this app for scheduling chores. The free version works well for this! Super easy to use and overall just a great chores manager app. I can’t comment on the other features but I would definitely recommend using this app for scheduling weekly, monthly, etc chores. Thanks!

Relationship saver

Long review but we’ll deserved.

My boyfriend has ADHD and for 3 years I’ve struggled with him cleaning since he doesn’t notice the mess & needs reminders (now this app sends reminders)! He also doesn’t do the chores to my standard since he gets overwhelmed or distracted without a list and instructions ☹️ (I used to have the full mental load to make a list and remind him). So he was willing to do anything I asked but it took a lot from me mentally as if I was a mother.

This morning I woke up later than him and saw notifications for 3 chores done! It was amazing. And they were done exactly how I wrote in the notes section of the individual chores. He told me he saw the reminders for the 3 chores, as well as step by step how to do them, so he just did it! I feel such a weight lifted off of me.

Competing for points has made us silly and goofy. He begged me not to get our prescriptions when I went out today because he wanted the points for himself! (We decided the one with most points at the end of the week gets a reward - my treat of sushi for him lol). So not only are chores done, but I feel equal, less stressed, have more free time, and feel appreciated.

Tip:
we made the big chores feel smaller by breaking them up into several small steps! This way you get rewarded with points more often (even though it’s less points since the task is smaller).

Example:
Cleaning kitchen has 4 steps, so instead of 4 points for “clean kitchen”, we make 4 separate chores for each step, and you get rewarded 1 point for each (still adds up to 4 total)!

I find this keeps the ADHD brain stimulated with constant reward instead of a big reward after a hard effort. Studies prove this to work better with teens and ADHD brains.

Enjoy!
