I use Focus to keep me on track when 2 workplace factors collide:1) the requirement to get key tasks completed2) the possibility of an interruption is very likelyI find that leaving the volume up slightly on the ticking sound keeps me going!
Not suitable for many things on the to-do-list

The app crashes and lags whenever there is a longer list of things to complete (left column). It also consumes a lot of battery and makes the macbook run really slow. When you add things to do, sometimes it takes almost 10 minutes for the space to pop-up where you write the things to do, and you might continuously click on it because you think it's not responding, 10 minutes later, you get 10 blank spaces that are in your "to-do-list" and it's annoying. It's cool however, because it does keep track of how much time it takes for you to complete an assignment, and how much you've been "focused" for the day compared to the other days of the week, and compared to the month as a whole. I would enjoy using this app if it didn't make my macbook lag so so much. I can't even read/scroll pdf files properly when the timer is happening in the backgroud.

I've been using Focus for the past two years, and this app is spot on. It has a sleek design, is intuitive, and stays uncluttered. It’s not complicated—it includes only what’s necessary, and the developers continuously improve it without overloading it with unnecessary features.The cloud sync keeps getting better, and now I can even access more functions on my watch—like pausing the timer, adding five more minutes, picking another task to work on, and more. On top of that, I can still see when it's time for a break, when to dive back into focused work, and when to enjoy a much-needed long break.If you're looking for a Pomodoro timer app on steroids, this is it. After trying about five different options, I haven't needed to search for another since I started using it.Kudos to the developers—seriously!
