Fonus: Borderless Data & Calls 4+

I’ve been a Fonus customer for about three years and it has gotten better every year with much needed updates. The last update allows the app to be recognized by my IPhone a a default app for calling. This is a game changer and now I can use the VOIP the same as a cell service carrier. I’m Canadian and travel to the US often and not having to worry about roaming charges is great. The only reason I give the app 4 stars and not 5 is because with the last update my signal strength diminished. I use to have 4 to 5 bar strength and I’m down to two bars in the same location. I contacted Fonus about the issue and they didn’t have an explanation.

App was updated in February 2025, data has been glitchy since. Plus no longer can see how much remaining data. Looking forward to further improvements.

Since the last update .. my phone has not been able to use or connect with fonus.. What seems to be the problem?? So glitchy .. in &. out constantly .. so very annoying for a service to be doing this constantly. It’s been months since the last update but nothing seems to be working properly like it was before .. even though the service was adequate It no longer seems to be the case ?? waiting for Fonus to do better … please get it right.
