What’s New

Version 3.0

Well goodbye GAget, hello Numerico! The new name brings so many new features, you just have to check it out yourself. Daily, weekly, monthly stats + REAL-TIME DATA! Yay! Oh did I mention the new iOS 14 capable widgets?

But this comes for a price... The app now requires a yearly subscription to unlock all features. If you have purchased GAget in the last 6 months, you get 6 months free! I hope you will like this new version, a lot of sleepless nights went into it :)

This version drops support for older iOS versions. Stuck on an old version? Reach out to support@gagetapp.com and I'll see if I can manage to support older OS versions if enough people need it.

Unfinished or broken?

This app seems to have care put into it, but there are a lot of unfinished edges. It doesn’t have an app icon on my home screen, makes it very hard to switch between views, and just overall feels unfinished or that some things have broken. I’ll be requesting a refund.

New App is Unfair to Old Customers

I purchased this app almost 7 years ago at full price and now after updating it this week, I find that I have to pay again to use it?! This is REALLY unfair to your initial customers. There should be some kind of program available to grandfather those at zero cost, who have already paid good money for your app, the people who supported you from the beginning. I use this app as my default Google Analytics app, so I rely upon it quite heavily, that’s why I purchased the premium version in the first place. To suddenly have that taken away, without warning, is a pretty bad way to treat those who supported you. I really hope that you figure this out because after experiencing this, I wouldn’t purchase another app from you in the future as I would be expecting the exact same treatment to occur again

With that being said, I am leaving a 5 star review because the app itself is extremely good, it’s only your new pricing model which I protest. If you don’t figure out a system to compensate your early supporters, I am moving away from the app permanently and I believe others will follow in suit. You cannot do a bait and switch with early users, as it’s essentially stealing from us. If you disagree, answer me this, what did I pay for all of those years ago? I now have nothing, which I would define as theft

Forces paying customers into a subscription

This former one-time purchase app now needs a pricy yearly subscription to use. Functionally it’s the same app with a facelift. Steer clear.

Developer Response ,

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback! I knew the update would disappoint some existing users, and I totally understand your frustration. I have tried to ease the pain for users who have purchased in the last 6 months by giving them 6 months free. The iOS have not been updated in about 3 years, except for critical bug fixes. I felt like this was the time to make this change in order to be able to financially sustain future development of the app. In case you would like to have a discussion about this change, please reach out to help@numerico.app.

By the way the app has many new features besides the facelift:
- new overview screen where you can see all your selected views
- ability to select which metric interests you the most
- real-time data
- ability to customize how views are displayed (name and color)
- referring sites
- full iPad support
- iOS14 widgets
