Description

Never lose touch with friends, family or your network again. Set how often to get reminded about each contact, and Garden will notify you regularly.

Garden is the personal relationship management app that sends you regular reminders to reach out to the people who matter most in your life. You'll never lose touch with friends, family or your network again.

Just set how often you want to reach out to important contacts and Garden will send you regular reminder notifications.

"Reminder to reach out to Jane S. (it's been 3 months)."

You can choose to be reminded as often as you want - every month, every quarter, even every day :)

Save notes for each contact to refresh your memory of important details, or of your last conversation.

For friends:
Old friendships are sometimes the most valuable. Make sure to keep people in your life who know you best. Even after years apart, it feels like you can pick up right where you left off, but wouldn't it be great if it hasn't been years?

For family:
Make your extended family a bigger part of your life, and let them know you're thinking about them. It's easy to lose touch with aunts, uncles, cousins, even grandparents. They're thinking about you and would love to hear some stories, Garden will remind you to say hello.

For your network:
Keep important business contacts and potential leads up to date. Turn introductions into connections by sending regular updates. Your network is your most powerful business asset, and Garden can help ensure you're top of mind.

When life gets busy, sometimes we need to be reminded to enjoy our most meaningful relationships.

Useful, but needs improvement

I love the idea of this app and it’s great for helping me remember to stay in touch with folks, but it could use some big usability improvements.

1) To submit feedback or ask for support, you have to be using Mail on your device - it just gives an error if you’re using an alternate client.

2) When choosing contacts to stay in touch with, it shows you basically everyone you’ve ever emailed. That’s a little overwhelming!

3) The notes field is really important, esp for contacts I don’t talk to very often. But it’s so small that it’s unusable! I can only see a few words at a time when I’m updating it or trying to read it.

Latest update makes this app superb

I have a lot of friends living in Europe as I used to go to school there. It’s hard to remember to keep up because I no longer see them every day, but this app serves as a reminder quite well.

There was a bit of an issue in previous versions because it only allowed you to access iMessage through the app, and while popular in the US and Canada, iMessage is not quite as widespread in Europe (my primary target here). With the latest update, support has been added for WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. WhatsApp works wondrously, but Messenger integration leaves a bit to be desired but I am glad it’s there.

Overall with this latest update this app is finally at a place where its ease of use is up to par with an app I not only use, but enjoy using.

Collects your contacts

What for? There is no privacy statement other than it won’t send spam. But is the info sold, and what about getting hacked? Why collect all the contact information on my friends and family? Couldn’t the app just work without sharing that info to someone else’s devices (the developers and who knows who else?). Great idea. But I can’t even try the app without gambling with my friend’s data.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the feedback - we will soon be introducing manual contact input so that you can use the app without allowing access to contacts!
