The Genesis Intelligent Assistant App offers a comprehensive suite of remote services for your connected vehicle, including remote start, vehicle status updates, charge scheduling, and more. It also provides diagnostics tools, roadside assistance, and a variety of helpful owner resources to keep you supported wherever you are.
With Genesis Connected Services technology, you’re empowered to manage your vehicle from virtually anywhere – whether you’re at the office, at home, or on the go.
To access Genesis Connected Services (GCS), simply log in with your user email, password, and PIN. For added convenience, you can also use biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to quickly send commands. An active Genesis Connected Services subscription is required to use these features. To enroll, contact your distributor or visit genesisconnect.ca.
Always use Genesis Connected Services and its devices when parked and in a secure safe environment. Cellular and GPS coverage are required for full functionality. Feature availability, specifications, and fees may vary by model and are subject to change. Some limitations may apply. For more details, please refer to the Genesis Connected Services Agreement – Terms and Conditions and, Privacy Notice. These can be accessed by clicking the Utilities tab within Genesis Connected Services and then navigating to “Help and Support”.
This app has not worked for me since the beginning of December - after the new update. Prior to the update it was working perfectly on my 2022 GV70. I have had a case number since December 19 and not once has anyone from the technical team contacted me. I have phoned every week and get the same story that someone will contact me in 3-5 days. No one has. Love the vehicle, this app and the customer service is abysmal.

Was this even tested? 90% of the time the app replies with “cannot complete your request” error. Also what is the point of using it as a remote start when if it does work, it ignores your climate settings and you have to get into a car with the ac blasting and the seats on cool in the winter. Honestly, I would just ignore this and use the fob until they get it working. You know, like a luxury car should.

The app is very convenient! Has a lot of good functions but can get pretty finicky with error messages if you do not engage it on a regular basis.

Start engine function does not work

Everything in the app works, albeit a little slow except the start engine function. Without that option the app is basically useless to me.
