Description
Participate in tournaments with your team of gladiators as you employ bribes and assassinations to weaken your adversaries. Acquire gladiators from your competitors, or sell them if you lose interest. Train them with new skills and upgrade their stats for glorious victory in the colosseum.
Best described as a strategic manager with an auto-battler component. It has old-school, sandbox vibes, and isn’t the easiest game out there. Your success hinges on smart choices and resource management, while you use your hard-earned denarii to expand your roster of gladiators and workers, acquire beasts, gear, weapons, and upgrade your facilities.
To organize your gladiators effectively, you handle their injuries, and maintain their loyalty. Level up their attributes, select techniques, and choose fighting styles to optimize their performance in battle.
Remember that your opponents are well-equipped too, so careful planning is essential. Fortunately, you can always cheat, bribe, persuade, and assassinate on your way to becoming the most influential lanista in all of Rome.

Outstanding.
So, I have been playing this game for a few months, and in my time spent playing I have managed to reach ascendancy 10 on hard mode. I absolutely love this game and many of the mechanics. The gameplay loop is very entertaining, the fights are fun to play out, and there is plenty of replay value available for those who beat the game and are looking for more.
