Now with an expanded Global News offering – giving you unlocked 24/7 access to local and national news streams across Canada including: BC, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Okanagan, Peterborough, Montreal, Halifax, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Kingston, Lethbridge and National.
Plus watch the biggest shows from Food Network, HGTV, W Network, Slice, Showcase, History, Adult Swim and National Geographic. All you have to do is sign in with your TV provider to watch.

Version 5.4.0
NEW: Auto-Play for Binge Watching - If you've reached near the end of an episode of a show and there's a newer episode available of that show, the app will automatically play the next episode or you can tap 'cancel' to exit. Similarly, when you're watching news clips they will automatically play the next one in the collection once you've reached near completion. This can be turned Off / On in the Settings menu.
NEW: Audio and Subtitles on Live Streams: Live Streams now support Closed Captioning (CC).
NEW: Picture in Picture support: You can now multi-task with picture in picture mode without stopping video playback. You can either background the app, or press the Picture in Picture button on the video player to activate picture in picture mode.
NEW: New Episode Indicator: Episodes that are less than 7 days old will now have a "NEW" indicator next to them to make it easy for you to distinguish new episodes from older ones.
NEW: Livestream Personalization: When you play a live stream it will move that live stream to the front of the corresponding Live Stream collection so you can quickly get back to it the next time you use the app.

Extremely loud commercials
Love having the ability to watch some of my favourite global shows when I want, but the commercials are ear-drum-breaking! Why is such volume necessary?! All this encourages is that I mute my device volume (and therefore don't hear the ad your sponsors are paying you for). Ad volume should be equivalent to show volume; the disparity is ridiculous!

Hi there, thank you for the feedback. This is something we are actively trying to fix. This is a widespread problem across most video mobile apps. Completely agree, this is not a good experience, and we are taking measures internally to fix this as soon as we can.
Not as advertised
Even though I pay for all the channels through my tv provider I am not able to access all of the channels listed through the global app. It’s not even half, I can only access 2 channels. Why the false advertising, can you even do that?
