Description
GlobalProtect for iOS connects to a GlobalProtect gateway on a Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewall to allow mobile users to benefit from enterprise security protection. Enterprise administrator can configure the same app to connect in either Always-On VPN, Remote Access VPN or Per App VPN mode. The app automatically adapts to the end user’s location and connects the user to the best available gateway in order to deliver optimal performance for all users and their traffic, without requiring any effort from the user. This allows users to work safely and effectively at locations outside of the traditional office.
Before installing this app, please check with your IT department to ensure that your organization has enabled a GlobalProtect gateway subscription on the firewall.

Has improved
I used to have regular issues with it randomly disconnecting but it seems to have improved lately.
Feature request: Please add a “Home Screen Quick Action” to connect/disconnect with touch and hold or 3D touch from the home screen. Since the common use case really is to just connect or disconnect, it would be nice to have that directly accessible on the home screen without having to launch the app first. Note this could also reduce the need of a landscape mode like others have requested.

Works really well, but of course requires a Palo Alto Firewall or Prisma Access to work.
When it is on I cannot access anything else
This app is awful. When it is on I cannot access anything else, only the servers I have access to in my company.
I have to keep turning it on and off, it is truly a waist of time, having a better firewal in place and password policies would make more sense.
I am trying to convince management to use cloudflare tunnels instead.
Do not use this.
