Description

Gluten Free Restaurant Cards is an application which allows people with Coeliac/Celiac disease to more easily dine out. It has over 40 card images from CeliacTravel.com in many languages that can be shown to a waiter/chef to explain the restrictions for those on a gluten-free diet.

Helpful ???

The first time I showed this card to a server in Spain, they gave me back the card, shrugged their shoulders and walked away. The card is too "in your face" - the comment "I may therefore become very ill if I eat food containing flours...." is too strong, it scared the uninformed. I wol dlike a gentler but informative card!

Somewhat useful but not the Japanese

Not bad. Good idea and can be quite useful but font is too small in Japanese for anyone to read. Would be better if you can enlarge to make it readable.

Every Little Bit Helps!

This is a great little app, that helps when visiting a restaurant. However, I would love to be able to message or email the card to the restaurant whenever I have to telephone order a take-out meal. Being unable to get out to restaurants now, this would be helpful. But a big “Thank You” for helping us Celiacs communicate our situation to others, who don’t understand.
