Do you hunt or fish in Virginia? This application is for you. Made available by the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) and GoOutdoorsVirginia.com, this free application contains a variety of useful tools and information including:
- Store your license on your phone and sync recent purchases
- Access to hunting and fishing regulations, season and bag limit information, and state record fish
- Access to DWR’s hunting and fishing licensing system
- Location based Sunrise/Sunset Timer and Moon Phases
- Prime wildlife feeding times
- Tides and Nautical weather
- Online Game Check and Boat renewals
- plus DWR news feeds
The application requires Internet access for some features. Let us know your ideas for improvements and future features.

Here's what's new in this version:
- We've implemented biometric authentication options for Vessels Registration, including fingerprint and facial recognition, for a more secure and convenient sign-in process. Now, you can access your vessel registration with just a touch or a glance.
- In response to user feedback, we've enhanced the sorting for the Harvest Report. This will help you quickly find the information you need for reporting and tracking your harvests.
- Resolved occasional crashes that occurred during runtime
- Fixed an issue where certain features were unresponsive or slow to load
