Such a fun app!

My boyfriend loves to bet on sports and I always wished there was somewhere I could bet on all the reality tv and celeb drama that I love! I have already gotten a self tanner and a hair mask. Love this app! I hope it continues to get more popular.

Not worth your time

This used to be a fun app when i first downloaded it a few months ago. However, they increased the amount of stars and coins needed to redeem a prize which makes it nearly IMPOSSIBLE to redeem anything at all given that winning bets and quizzes (which are hard btw) can only earn you 1 to 3 stars. Fortunately, i was able to redeem two prizes prior to changes made to the app. One of the two prizes was a set of hairclips... i redeemed it for about 45 stars, it is now worth 190!! I was also able to redeem a $10 amazon gift card for about 80-100 stars, it is now worth about 295 😕

Hey Coffeemvgs, yeah we totally get why you are frustrated but hear us out. We are a start up that launched in 2020. We had no idea what was the "right" price for our items in our store so we did a guess and check approach each month. as you may have noticed this wasn't the first increase for items. It's because each month we are still losing money as we want to be able to give uses an ad free experience so are taking the hit of having all of the prizes com out of pocket . When 2021 rolled around, we did a hard look and didn't want to have to continually increase costs so we just ripped off the bandaid. For us to afford to continue to operate this is what we had to do. Its not fun for us. We don't want to upset our fam, but we're stuck between going bust, applying ads to our service, or increase the star and coin value and still being able to ship prizes for free. So we went with increasing the cost. Again, we are sorry for lack of warning as that was a huge mistake, but we couldn't keep the prices as they were. Nothing strategic about it. Just a tough year for everyone really. Thanks so much for being a part of the journey though and for giving us some real honest feedback.

Rip off

Honestly at first I totally loved this app, i was able to cash out a paulas choice skincare product and im happy with it. But I was looking to redeem the same prize a couple weeks later and the amount of stars/coins needed has DOUBLED. Not cool!!!!

Hey ajs, thanks for your reply. So the reason we've had to increase costs to items in our store is because we can't afford it as a business. We pay out of pocket for items and for shipping and as we only launched in 2020 , it took us a while to figure out what star prize is feasible for us. When we re-evaluated in 2021 we just can't pay the bills and pay out the prizes at the previous cost. We are really sorry for the sudden adjustment, and we do regret not informing our users before doing this.
