Description

This app will help you keep track of which direction you are heading in, with visual as well as audio and an alarm.

It was primarily designed for those on a boat, what want to make sure they are still heading in the same direction.

There are 2 settings you can change. The voice degree setting will tell you what your new direction is if you are outside the window set. The alarm degree setting will set off an alarm if you are outside that window set

Great for anyone who wants to maintain their direction.

Requires use of the compass on your iPhone.

Great concept but I really wish this worked.

“Current heading” says “no reading” on my 2016 iPad and iPhone7Plus (iOS 15.7.6). On my iPhone4S, it did show a heading for a few minutes but I haven’t gotten it to work since. I would like to use it to let me know when my boat changes direction suddenly due to tide/wind so I can adjust my solar panels and also make sure my anchor trip line (led back to the bowsprit with a weak link) doesn’t get snagged by the keel as the boat rotates. If it works, I wouldn’t mind paying for it. And I don’t buy apps often! I hope the author finds time to fix it but maybe he’s out sailing? Fair winds and following seas.
