Wonderful app

I love this app. The layered custom notation implementation is well designed and works well, as do remote pedal functionality for page turning. I love being able to bring my beloved Henle editions of favourite pieces wherever I go.

The only thing I’d love to see at this juncture is the ability to enable some sort of subtle page turn animation, especially when using a Bluetooth pedal. I find that it’s often not immediately clear whether a page turn has occurred or not—a bit of a concern when playing rapid passages (I mostly play harpsichord) in pieces where pages are similar. Some sort of rapid “wipe” effect, or other visual cue would go a long way to alleviate this, at least for me. how about it, Henle people?

All in all, well done!

Notation difficulties

I love this app, Henle scores are the best, except for the notation features. If I want to write something in, the layer thing often gets in the way and I can’t write freely on the score. Perhaps this works for people, but I find it difficult to notate with, and find myself turning to forScore with friendly notating features. I wish it was at least customisable.

Developer Response ,

Dear CanadianCello,
thank you very much for your review and for your praise! Some difficulties when entering annotations result from the fact that the Henle Library app does not (like other apps) work with PDFs, but with a graphic format that enables a very flexible layout. Of course we will continue to strive for improvements. However, entries should be easier if you zoom into the score using the two-finger gesture and also move it with two fingers. Stunning

My favourite sheet music app. Despite having the same pieces on other apps and in physical books, I have purchased it here because I love this app that much. Spacing and sizes can be changed. Unlike other apps this is not an unpleasant zoom function (at best). A must have! Honestly you have not experienced digital sheet music until you have used this app.
