While its a ok game...

I never really likes the "hero project" arc of the story.... And this game doesnt change my mind. I feel like its too restrictive in ways i dint even understand. Where some options are simply unpickable as they never work. But this is just my experience. Maybe im just bad at this arc. Either way, i still think its worth a moment of ur time.

Disappointed

The First instalment of hero’s rise was one of the best trilogies I’ve read, however I can’t stress enough how disappointed I was with redemption season. In my opinion the writer lost focus of what made the first series so enjoyable. Instead of focusing on the enjoyment of creating your character and watching them grow in their abilities and relationships, this book felt muddled with issues irrelevant to the game. As the reader I felt forced into accepting the writers viewpoints on inequality of the LGBTQ and felt very little connection to the character I was playing.
My hope is that the writer can dig deep and relook and focus the game back towards fighting, hero creation and growth instead of rambling self views that dilute the potential of these books.
