Charming rouge-lite

A considerably well balanced and satisfying incremental based RPG, similar to InflationRPG but more modern and arguably better made. No forced advertisements although you can choose to watch them to get a couple extra fights per run.

A lot of ad from very beginning of the game. It so bad when you decide to make ad on game screen

Fun game with major flaws and padding

TLDR: Fun at the beginning, but plagued by padding/grinding later on. Play for a few hours before deciding whether or not you want to even invest in this time sink.

-Very fun early-mid game with each run making significant progress to your character

-Midgame to endgame becomes a WALKING SIMULATOR as you are forced to spend over 10 minutes per run just backtracking(multiple times later on) to kill early bosses for more energy to optimize your run. The shortcuts you unlock later on don’t help alleviate this at all. With certain upgrades you end up spending more time walking than just fighting monsters. There should be an option to just convert those bosses into energy so you don’t have to walk back and kill them. Or just balance the game so you aren’t forced to this in the first place.

-Endgame progress crawls to a halt as you won’t be able to have enough gold to buy new equipment in a run and instead must settle for upgrading your existing equipment. Instead of getting a major upgrade to your stats each run you only get a minor upgrade. In the beginning/mid game you spend a max of 5 runs per new boss in order to buy a new set of equipment to progress to the next area. In the endgame you are forced to spend 10-15 runs upgrading your equipment so you can get just strong enough to be able to buy new equipment. This also leads to your new equipment being a minor stat boost over your current upgraded equipment so the whole process feels unsatisfying. This combined with the previous issue makes you spend hours grinding and walking just to unlock the next area.
