Good basic planning
I think people are very critical for an under 10 dollars application, where SoftPlan and simillar apps cost thousands. Personally have used it successfully to share my new house design ideeas with the family and the builder. It is lso fast to get the results. Have started with iPad, iPhone and now, due the fact I want to see my design on a larger scale, I have purchased the desktop version.
Plenty of options to have close ideas on how the house looks like, place furniture around, backyard settings etc. It is missing couple of necessary design features like object mirroring, multi object selection, arches and angle joining. Object wise looking for diffrent structure walls, second floor, roofing, and floor layering. I come around these copying the first floor to create the basement and second floor.
Overall, pleased with the app, looking forward to updates on the specified lacking features. You can not get wrong with it!
One note, the design translated in Softplan by the builder got 99% accuracy in size and surface calculation, and that becouse I did not know the exact exterior wall thicknes in the basement and main floor.
Lots of potentials
I like using this app especially for my basement renovation planning. And it has the potential for landscaping, plans for moving a new home.
Good App for Basic Features, not for detailed plans
This app is easy to use and works well for basic features but is not good for anything other than a simple floor plan or a bungalow. You cannot do a second floor and you cannot angle walls (Vertically).
