HomeRun is HomeKit like you've never used before, bringing fast scene control to your Apple Watch on watchOS 6.
Featured by Apple in "New Apps We Love" and "Great on Apple Watch".
"If you are using HomeKit devices and have an Apple Watch, try HomeRun; it’s become one of my favorite ways to trigger scenes." - MacStories.
• Scene Grid
Lay your scenes out in a grid, making it easy to remember where and what each action is. Launch HomeRun and just tap to run a scene!
Run scenes from your Watch faces with the ability to link a complication to a scene. Customize a complication for every watch face to maximise control of your Home.
• Daily Routines
Set up daily routines on your Watch with complications that switch context, icon and color throughout your day. In the morning, your complication can start your day, make your coffee, then in the evening it could turn off your lights for bed.
• Siri Watch Face Support
Set up a routine for the Siri Watch Face, sharing what you want it to suggest at given times of your day.
Customize your grid of actions to make them usable at a glance by setting colors and icon for every action. Choose from over 4460 icons or emojis.
HomeRun requires watchOS 6 and is not compatible with the first-generation Apple Watch.
HomeRun now supports over 4460 icons and emojis for use on buttons!
- Support for the full set of Simpaticons icons and SF Symbols allows them to be used in the grid layout and complications.
- Emojis are also available as an option for the grid layout but not complications.
- The ability to edit a button's linked scene has been added to aid in issues related to iOS updates.
HomeRun now requires iOS 13 and watchOS 6 to allow for future upgrades and SF Symbols support. Requiring watchOS 6 means a more flexible Watch app can be built in the future, expanding the possibilities of what HomeRun could do.
Ratings and Reviews
Great app, but...
A must have for anyone who hates the poorly designed Apple Home app on Apple Watch. The only issue I have is that you can only control scenes and not individual accessories. I don’t need a whole scene to turn off one lamp, but I had to create one to toggle that lamp using HomeRun. That seems like an unnecessary step.
Simply looking for an app that allows me to control things and works on my Apple Watch - HomeKit doesn’t work most of the time. I bought this because reviews were good but you don’t know until you can actually use it. You cannot just turn your home accessories, lights etc on or off with this. Further, trying to even set this thing up is confusing. I can change the icon and colour, but beyond that....
I’ll be looking for a refund, but the reporting sure this thing directs you to makes you put your Apple ID etc in and not so sure about that....

HomeRun is very clear in its description in multiple locations as to what it offers as an app. It is never advertised as a full HomeKit app but a simple and fast way to control scenes in a variety of manners. I’m sorry you misunderstood what the app did.
To use HomeRun, you should create scenes in the Apple Home app the link these to HomeRun buttons to use them quickly from your wrist.
Apple Watch isn’t really a suitable platform for a full HomeKit app due to how many controls that it would require and so forth.
You can request a refund via Apple as third party developers cannot issue them directly as we are not the merchant of record.

Please uninstall the app, reboot your devices, then reinstall the app. If this fails, please reach out via support in app. Reviews aren’t a reliable support method.
