Description

HR2VP is a versatile cycling app designed to enhance your riding experience. Use a heart rate monitor or Apple watch to estimate power & connect it to your Garmin GPS.

Use your phone as a bike computer, add power to your rides, connect your Apple watch to your Garmin GPS, train with structured workouts, upload to Strava, and use Zwift or any other indoor cycling app on any exercise bike. The app is compatible with Apple watch, Bluetooth Smart heart rate monitors, power meters, cadence sensors and FTMS bike trainers.

Here are the key features:

RECORD OUTDOOR ROUTES AND ADD POWER TO YOUR RIDES
• Use HR2VP as a bike tracker
• Add power based on heart rate to your rides
• Record GPS routes
• Automatically upload data to STRAVA
• Visualize training intensity in real time, including total distance, speed, heart rate, and calories burned
• Measure training load across all your bikes

DISPLAY HEART RATE OF YOUR APPLE WATCH ON YOUR GARMIN GPS
• Download HR2VP data field from the Connect IQ store and add it to one of your screens
• Enable broadcasting to the data field in HR2VP's settings on your phone
• Heart rate and power will be sent to your bike computer and saved directly into the '.fit' file
• Compatible with Edge 1030, 1030 Plus, 1040, 130 Plus, 530, 540, 830, 840, Explore 2

PAIR BLUETOOTH SENSORS

• Utilize your heart rate monitor as a virtual power meter, even on non-smart trainers or spin bikes
• The setup is straightforward, and you won’t need additional speed or cadence sensors on your bike
• Broadcast virtual power over Bluetooth Low Energy to Zwift
• Also compatible with other indoor cycling apps like Rouvy, Kinomap, My Whoosh, indieVelo

TRAIN WITH STRUCTURED WORKOUTS
• Connect your smart trainer and follow structured workouts
• Use the ‘Ergometer mode’ when connected to a bike trainer to automatically adjust resistance based on target power
• HR2VP can be used as a standalone TRAINING app
• Take advantage of color codes to visualize your watts and identify different intensity ZONES
• Interval training (hiit)
• Choose a workout based on training length and intensity among a big library
• Access training logs

POWER MATCHING ALGORITHM
• HR2VP’s algorithm considers variations in heart rate, not just instant values
• Train more precisely with this advanced matching algorithm
• Accuracy is good in the aerobic intensity zone but less accurate for shorter sprints (less than 30 seconds)
• Customize parameters such as FTP (Functional Threshold Power), weight, rest HR, and max HR

Ratings and Reviews

Misleading

Doesn’t allow you to run as a power meter, and zwift on the same device. Also if you delete the app off you phone temporarily it’ll cancel you subscription and make you pay again.

Developer Response ,

Please contact us if you have some trouble with the subscription, of course you shouldn't pay again to use the app. Concerning the first point, it is unfortunately impossible technically (forbidden by the Bluetooth technology itself) to broadcast and receive data on the same device which is why you have to install Zwift on another device. We are sorry but it is written in the Bluetooth Core Specification and there will never a solution to have both apps on the same phone.
