Not everyone lives in Finland!

The whole approach here is rather small minded as one has to have an address in Finland to even register for the app. Here’s some news to you; the whole world does not live in Finland and some of us abroad would actually like to read Finnish news. However, it seems that none of this is even considered by the app developers- a bit small minded to say the least...

And no, I am not referring to IP address: I am referring to the fact that in order to sign in you have to use a physical mailing address and the postal code has to be a finnish. Now the situation is even worse when I can purchase the paper with my Apple ID (great idea, sure). But now I have paid for the paper but my Apple ID is not being recognized by the app as being a new subscriber- so yes, I was charged the money (improvement I suppose) but still I cannot access the paper 🤯

Thanks for feedback! We do realize that not everyone lives in Finland.

Are you referring to purchase funnel that asks for Finnish address? If IP address is outside of Finland, we show little "Tilaa ulkomaille" link with airplane icon next to address field. That way you are able to make a purchase also from foreign countries outside Finland. I wonder if this was the case you faced.
