Description

The HxGN EAM Mobile Offline (formerly HxGN EAM Mobile for Transit) app allows organizations to perform functions such as Work Management, Materials Management, Inspections, Checklist and Asset Inventory. The app, after an initial sync, can operate in a disconnected mode allowing users to continue to create and modify data even when a data connection is not available. Once the device re-establishes a connection, another sync is required to save the new and modified data from the app to the server as well as to retrieve the latest data from the server. The app also has a map screen that works with ESRI’s GIS software.

Certain HxGN EAM version is required to work with this App. Network connection is required for the app to sync with the server. A database script may be required to support certain versions of HxGN EAM. Contract HxGN EAM Support for more details.

Please Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Users have the option to turn off the Breadcrumb Location Service for the App.

Version 12.1.1.2 Hotfix 20240927

Hotfix for data sync issue on iOS18 when the are document attached.

Note: 12.1.1.2 Mobile DB script is required for this release. Script is not required to rerun if it is already applied. Please see following Hexagon Smart Community Knowledge Article 000035833 for more details.

Annoying

Worst app I’ve used in any company setting. Doesn’t work, Broken can’t be fixed, get rid of it.

Quirky and buggy software. Has to be re-installed frequently!

Very BUGGY

Don’t ever bother doing an update. It just breaks it and the only way to fix is to uninstall and reinstall. Also sync errors are common and it never tells you why. It’ll try to sync sometimes with NO ERROR message and it will continue to show that there are items to be synced and it never will. Uninstalling and re-installing seems to be the only way to clear it.
