Versió 1.40

The first update in 2024 is here! And its a great one. Lots of amazing new features making hyperPad even better than before, plus some bug fixes! See the complete list below.

New Features

- You can now convert objects into objects of another type.
- Empty objects are now converted into graphics when choosing a graphic for them.
- The Hit by Bullet behavior now outputs hit position and the shooter object.
- Bullets can now be rescaled in shoot behaviors.
- Added a Random Seed behavior that can define a set seed and algorithm for Random Number behaviors.
- Added the ability to move objects between scenes and layers.
- You can now mirror multiple objects at once.
- Added the ability to collapse behavior bundle behaviors, allowing an entire behavior tree to be compressed into a single behavior.
- Added a “Disable Antialiasing” toggle in the Draw behavior.
- Added “Add Entries” mode in the Modify Dictionary behavior.
- Added “Remove Duplicates” and “Intersect” modes in the Modify Array behavior.
- Updated branding logo inside the app.

- Fixed crashing when changing the scene background on iOS 17.
- Fixed many unexpected UI-related crashes on iOS 17.
- Fixed objects displaying in the wrong position in overlays.
- Fixed performance issues with the Get Pixel behavior.
- Fixed the Preserve Transform property in the Set Graphic behavior miscalculating position for objects in relative position mode.
- Fixed crashes when effect parameters were set outside their intended range.
- Fixed 16:9 aspect ratio not completely fitting the screen.
- Fixed numeric input fields displaying Int32 despite the behavior being stored as doubles.
- Fixed the Edit Text Field behavior causing a crash after triggering the Alert behavior.
- Fixed assets displaying as being selected despite the multi-select mode being disabled.
- Fixed the Keyboard Event behavior not displaying character sequence.
- Fixed the Swipe Gesture behaviors activating when swiping in the wrong direction.
- Fixed the screen resetting to the wrong position in the editor when pressing “defaults” in screen settings.
- Fixed occasional flickering in graphics when playing various animations.
- Fixed clipping of some UI in the main menu.
- Fixed dark theme color scheme for some UI.

Best Game Development app!!

Hello, My name is Matthew and I am an indie developer that works for an console studio. This app helps me everyday learning about how to create a mobile app, and I can also see others peoples games.

There is one problem, 3D. It’s not a problem but an suggestion. If you could create a separate engine to do 3D, y and x axis 3D stuff then I would be pleased. Thanks again!

My Suggestions

Ok, one, I would suggest a 3D Mode because that would really stretch the creativity for this. Two, it would be cool if you could have proper real time graphics, that would be very cool too, this app has loads of potential and already did a good job! Hardly has any flaws accept for the search bar, no 3D mode, and real time graphics, but yeah, honestly amazing app I love making games for fun!But yeah, I made the 3D suggestion back on may 10th of 2022, now its November 4th 2022, and I have kept this on my iPad for a while now, amazing app, keep up the good stuff HyperPad!

Awesome app for designers who don’t know how to code!!

Been using Hyperpad for a few weeks now and it’s amazing what this app can do without knowing too much about coding! I’m a visual person, so seeing how the code behaviours work together in order to create my game ideas is very exciting!! Drag and place visual code behaviour boxes!! No text only coding!

The Hyperpad team and community is so friendly and wonderful! The best way to get support (if you’re stuck on how to create something in particular) is to join their Discord. RXCodes (part of Hyperpad team) has been especially helpful when I can’t figure out how to get something to work, but everyone is very nice and friendly there 💕

If you want to make your own game but don’t know how to code, you should definitely try Hyperpad!! I have been learning a lot and I really love it!! Thanks, Hyperpad team!!
