I amsterdam City Card 4+

It is a good app but slow in loading, not always scanning correctly even with maximum brightness.
I forced to pay for taxi on the first day because it didn’t load.
However, if you plan right, it will be an affordable way to see and enjoy Amsterdam.
I will recommend it but take screen shots of both transport and Musuem etc tickets and use those instead of the app itself.

As a family of 4 adults the card proved to be very cost effective. We initially opted for the digital card but anticipating issues with thefour of us boarding and deboarding trams and buses with a digital card we decided that we would trade in the digital cards for hard copies once we arrived at Central Station in Amsterdam. At the store we were met by a rude and uncooperative Iamsterdam representative with a haughty attitude who managed to turn this simple straightforward transaction into a challenging and frustrating experience. Only after lengthy machinations were we able to finally secure hard copies. She was a terrible ambassador for not only the Iamsterdam brand, but the beautiful city and it’s wonderful people.

The card sounds great but you only really find out after you made a purchase that the pass does not include certain attractions like the Van Gogh Musuem, also the QR code transfer did not work as intended, my mother purchased 3 cards, but upon transferring one of them to my father, it gave him 5 additional cards while also clearing my mom of her card.
