Peter Haworth ,

Such a great reference...

Can't we have an iPad version?

Great app, but….

This is a great guide app that even includes scat, which is very helpful. BUT, the location feature does NOT work for Canada, which makes it tedious to look for a particular species, especially with rodents etc.

I like it!

I really enjoy the application. The images and pictures are easy to find and always in the same order: drawings of the animals, pictures of animals, scats and tracks. The picture can be widened by tilting the ipod (same with text). The text is well detailed, talking about: size, range, description, comparisons with similar species and habitat. The mammal calls are a good bonus. To be perfect, it only needs to have the names of mammals in French.
