Good game not a money grab!
I have found this game to be decent, this game also seems to let you get through most of the entire game without spending a penny. Without spending money I am already feeling competitive in the PVP section of the game I think for someone who wants a free but well thought out experience give this game a try.
Great but bugged
I have been thoroughly enjoying this game but all of a sudden it say I have no connection even though I am on a strong wifi. Reset game and nothing.. please help!

Hi there. Apologies for this bug. Apple changed some hidden login credentials that broke the connection to the game's server for some people. Please follow the instructions below to fix this:
If you have a cloud save for the game (meaning you connected your Apple account in the Settings menu of the game):
1) Close IMTD: Evolved.
2) Open your device Settings. Tap your name at the top to open Apple ID and iCloud settings.
3) Navigate through the menus: Password & Security > Apps Using Apple ID > MonsterTD > Tap "Stop Using Apple ID".
3) Open IMTD: Evolved.
4) A prompt should automatically appear asking if you want to use your Apple ID for the game. Click "Allow". This will refresh your Apple login credentials and restore connection to the game's server.
If you DO NOT have a cloud save (meaning you never signed in with Apple in the Settings menu of the game):
1) Please email me at contact@swellgames.org to open a private conversation with me, where I can gather additional information from you to manually back up your data.
2) After I manually back up your data, you will need to delete and reinstall the game to reset the server credentials that are causing connection issues.
Too much pay to play.
This game has huge potential. It’s really smooth and fluid gameplay. Great concept. But you soon realize that it is pay to play. I cannot even rate it above one star because of how bad it’s pay to play. I did buy the 2x speed. But I’m not going to pay $27.99 for the best towers and then pay for gems to easily upgrade them. It’s so much of a grind if you don’t pay to play. I still play it though. But the pay to play is totally not worth it if you are competitive.

One thing we always like to mention is that the purchases in this game are not necessarily "pay to play" or "pay to win" - they're more like "pay to progress quickly". Nothing in the game is locked behind a paywall or is required to play and enjoy the full game. However, purchasing things such as game speed or damage boosts will certainly help speed up your progress and get to the end-game quicker. But again, this is not required in any way. We have plenty of top players on the leaderboard who are fully F2P.
