April 3, 2020 Update: Background Audio Issues resolved
We love having access to Dr. Stanley’s sermons! Thank you for quickly resolving the issues that occurred in the March update to the app for the iPhone and iPad. For the record these were the issues that were resolved:
1. The Today on Radio messages, 24/7 Radio and Daily Devotions stoped playing within a few seconds after the screen turned off or you switched to another app. In the previous versions of the app, the player would keep playing.
2. The “This Week on TV” would not play and returned an error message. This was fixed by the April 2 update.
3. The menus are not readable in Dark Mode. Dark mode is not being applied within the app as of the April 3, 2020 update.
PS. Thank you for adding the past two weeks of episodes to Dr.Stanley’s Radio and TV Podcast library. While the app wasn't working I was going to use that as an alternative but discovered It was missing recent content.
Awful new app
As a daily reader of the word and one who enjoys listening to Charles Stanley’s messages, this new app is steps backward. The old one was much better and user friendly, easy to use. Please do something quickly to redesign this new app because it is sorely lacking good UI/UX. Not enjoying it at all. Bring back the old.
