The Insta360 ONE X app – A full editing room to accompany your ONE X. All in your pocket.
With our app, you don’t have to point your camera anymore. The ONE X shoots in every direction at once, then you choose the best parts of your shot and create cinematic edits with the app. Try dropping points throughout your clip in the editing interface. The camera will follow along, panning smoothly to wherever you want.
Adjust the speed of different parts of a clip on a whim with TimeShift. Highlight key moments with cinematic slow-mo, or speed things up to suit the rhythm of the scene – the app always keeps playback smooth.
Connect to the ONE X to preview and control your shots. When you’re ready to transfer footage back to your phone for editing and sharing, you can quickly send it back over WiFi or connect directly with a data transfer cable.
With accessories, you can capture impossible angles by literally throwing your camera with the Drifter. Or, you can get amazing slow-mo shots with the bullet-time bundle.

Downgrades the camera I payed for...
Great things first... great UI, super easy to use, get videos out in seconds...
Shorts: Does not export/use the camera’s limits, if the camera exports 5.7k but I can only use 4K and lower bit-rate - then this app DOWNGRADES the camera you bought. Which makes no sense. The iPad Pro and most newer phones should handle the exports. The idea of mobile editing is HERE - I should not have to carry a laptop to export a video.
It is been over 2 years - this feature should be here so it is unfortunate as I feel I don’t have access to my camera’s features with this app.
Can’t export anything
Using an iPad mini and I can’t export any file. I reformatted it completely to triple check and still gives me an error.
Can’t export video at 5.7k
I can’t export video at 5.7k with this app using an 1TB 2018 iPad Pro. This is very disappointing as the new iPad should be powerful enough to handle the 5.7k video. I was hoping to leave my laptop behind and just use my iPad to export all the videos, but now I can’t.
Another shortcoming is that this app can’t use landscape mode. It only works on portrait mode. Again, this is a huge drawback when using the iPad with a keyboard.
Hope the developers can include the two features mentioned above in the future. Thanks.
