The IntelliFire® app makes it possible using your phone or tablet, or by the sound of your voice using smart speakers.
You can have a cozy environment greet you when you walk in the door. Then go hands-free with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
With your phone or tablet, you can control on/off, flame height, thermostat, burn time, lights, fan and more. And use your smart speaker to turn on or off the fire.
You will need to have a Wi-Fi module installed to enable smart control of your fire. To learn if your fireplace, insert or stove is compatible or to set up an appointment, contact your local Heat & Glo®, Majestic®, Heatilator®, Quadra-Fire®, Simplifire® or Vermont Castings® dealer.

This app is useless it is very buggy and the support is nonexistent

This system is useless and support non existent, the system spends more time offline than it does online, this has to be the most unstable system I have ever used

Giant waste of $$$$

As the other reviewer Buggy said it.
Way over priced
Even if it worked properly still hard to justify the cost
Constantly drops wifi (if you can even get it to connect)
It’s a whole process to reconnect it so I’ve now stopped trying to get it to work as it is a constant reminder of what a waste of money this is.

Doesn’t Work

Sad people see these comments AFTER buying a wifi module for their fireplace. If only there was more transparency before the purchase.

Simply doesn’t work. The wifi module will stay connected to internet for about 3 weeks before malfunctioning. Alexa can control this for a little while but then loses connectivity, same with the app on iOS. We have had the tech come out twice and replace the physical module. So you can’t say we got a lemon.

The fireplace itself is amazing. One of our favourite features of the house. The tech seems frustrated with this technology. He claimed it was rushed to keep up with competitors. This is very basic tech. Hope you guys can fix and update existing systems rather us having to buy new modules.

In all honesty, this is taking advantage of customers. Knowingly selling upgrades that are not ready. Should be ashamed.
